This listing is for a Yamaha Recording Custom 5pc Shell Pack In gloss black lacquer, and the kit is in very good condition. Two things about this kit.
1) the 15” Hanging Tom Shell is from an earlier era, is in black wrap (vs black lacquer), and has a gloss natural lacquer interior (different from the later / other black interior shells). See pictures for clarity.
2) the right BD spur is missing the rubber tip, but floor spike works just fine.

This set is of the Pre-Yess Mount era. It has absolutely stunning tone and clarity in both live and recording situations. This is the kit that Steve Gadd, Dave Weckl, and Vinnie Colaiuta made popular and perhaps the most recorded kit over the past 40 years.

This kit includes the 10x08”, and 12x08” Rack Toms, as well as the 14x12”, and 15x12” Hanging Floor Toms, along with the 22x16” kick drum. We will include the bass drum tom mount, and the (Pearl T2000) hanging tom stand for the hanging toms, with Yamaha tom holders for all 4 drums. Also included is the center cymbal stand/arm that fits in to the bass drum tom mount. Includes all new Evans G1, and Evans G2 heads on the toms. Also has a like new Evans 360 E-mad batter head on the bass drum.

There are nicks here and there throughout the drums, but nothing that stands out from a few feet away. The bass drum has some scuff spots in the bottom portion of the interior of the shell (as seen in the pictures), so If you have any questions, PLEASE do not hesitate to ask, as all sales are final.
